CENTRALIZED DRAINAGE SYSTEM DETECTION AND MONITORING USING IOT









Abstract

Drainage system monitoring plays avital role to keep city clean. Sometimes not all areas have drainage monitoring team. It leads to irregular monitoring of the drainage system. The irregular monitoring of the drainage system leads to blockage. Manual monitoring is unskilled. Sometimes due to lack of knowledge the worker may meets to an accident as they have no idea that how will be the conditions in those manholes. Proposed system helps to monitor the drainage system without manual help and detects the status of the system. This system consists of microcontroller interfaced with gas sensor (MQ-4), level indicator, GPS and IOT(ESP8266). This system monitors the status of the drainage system and gives the signal to the buzzer and the values are updated to the server through IOT.
