DESIGN OF IoT BASED COVID-19 HEALTHCARE RELIEF BOT WITH IR TEMPERATURE SENSOR UTILIZING NodeMCU

Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) refers to a system of many internet-connected objects that are able to collect and transfer data over a wireless network without human intercession. COVID-19, is a global pandemic extending beyond its biological scale to infect lives globally and has claimed innumerable lives with no possible cure as of now. In this scenario, we have focused on helping the medical staff and the hospitals by building a COVID-19 RELIEF BOT that can be used in hospitals for maintaining and keeping a track of numerous records of infected and recovering patients. This bot can be controlled using a laptop, mobile app and also a website and will be helpful to all the hospitals who have COVID-19 patients by recording their temperatures and sending alert messages and an e-mail alert of the risen temperature as it is an automated machine and reducing manual contact of hospital staff with the patients and thus preventing spread of this deadly virus. The Healthcare bot can be used in future implications and research in epidemiology and help keep a track of various other diseases and infected patients by updating the bot time to time with other sensors and machine learning models.
