AN IOT BASED SMART MULTI-CROP IRRIGATION SYSTEM









Abstract

The main intention of this project (AN IOT BASED SMART MULTI CROP IRRIGATION SYSTEM) is to irrigate the multiple crops based on the sensor values and reduce the work of the farmer and increase the efficiency of the crop growth and it also saves the water. Many smart irrigation systems are proposed in different ways, but none talk about irrigating multiple crops simultaneously. In the farmer's field there is not only one crop there are multi crops present in it. We are placing the soil moisture sensors and the nitrogen sensors in the crops whatever we have. By monitoring each crop's soil moisture sensor values, we are diverting the water to that particular crop that contains the soil moisture sensor value less than the threshold value. With the help of the nitrogen sensor, we are giving an idea to the farmer when to fertilize the crop. We are sending all the sensor values to the farmer's mobile to know the farmer that the irrigation can be happening perfectly or not andto monitor the system.
