Agriculture Product Price Tracing Using Blockchain Technology









Abstract

Globalized manufacturing and agricultural manufacturing distribution give a renewed focus to the food safety, food quality, and the validation of several significant criteria in agriculture and food supply chains. Increasing numbers of food safety and food adulteration hazards have created an enormous need for an efficient traceability solution that acts as an important quality management instrument ensuring appropriate product safety in the agricultural supply chain. Blockchain is a disruptive technology that in agriculture and food supply chains can provide an innovative and alternative for product traceability. Today's agricultural supply chains are complicated ecosystems involving several contributor fabricating it difficult to validate several significant requirements such as nation of origin, crop growth phases, quality standards compliance, and yield monitoring. In this project, we suggest a strategy that leverages the blockchain and efficiently conducts company operations across the agriculture’s supply chain for crop price monitoring and traceability. Our solution eliminates the need for a trusted centralized authority, intermediaries and offers records of transactions, improving efficient science and safety with high integrity, reliability. All transactions are recorded and stored in the unchangeable ledger of the blockchain with links to a decentralized le system and thus ensure a high level of transparency and traceability in the supply chain ecosystem in a trustworthy, reliable, secure and efficient way.
