Abstract
In this world, there may occur some disasters for the human beings, environment, and other living or non-living beings. In this order, now a day’s accidents play a major role which is due to the Sun even interruptions, inappropriate driving by the drivers, faults in vehicles, etc. To avoid accidents due to any lapse in concentration that increases the risk of the vehicle being involved in a crash. The major component of the project includes an Arduino Mega 2560, alcohol sensor, IR sensor, Temperature sensor, etc. Here, a 16x2 LCD is used to display the condition of the driver to the passengers inside while he drives the vehicle. Buzzers are also included in this project as an alert system.
According to reports of the World Health Organization (WHO), every year approximately 1–1.24 million people are killed while 20–50 million people are injured on the roads across the world. Moreover, if the current tendency lasts for a decade, an increased rate as high as 60–70% of road accidents could make it the 5th main cause of death by 2030 in this fast running world with vehicles. In monetary terms, the costs involved in road accident damages are estimated at more than half a trillion USD, which makes nearly 2% of the gross national product (GNP) of advanced economies, 1.5% of GNP of medium income countries, and 1% of GNP of low-income countries. So, in this driver and the vehicle is monitored using cloud system by the Internet of Things for four wheelers.
