Face detection is used in various applications that include the identification of people’s faces in digital images. Face recognition is a process used to identify and verify the identity of an individual. The technology is used in different industries such as automobile security, immigration, healthcare and education. Using deep learning algorithms, we can identify and verify the multi-angled faces of people. In this paper, we have used Haar Cascade classifier for detecting the human face and VGG16 model for extracting the features from the detected face. The accuracy of the model is evaluated for both normal and low contrast images.
