PRIVACY PRESERVING OF IOT DATA USING BLOCK CHAIN MECHANISM









Abstract

Although the Internet of Things (IoT) is still in its infancy, it will eventually have an impact on practically every item we use on a daily basis. The greater its integration into our way of life, the greater the risk of it being abused. It is critical that IoT devices be made safe in order to avoid being hacked. By changing devices that were previously offline into online systems, the Internet of Things will soon increase the space for cyber-attacks on households and businesses. Existing security technology is simply insufficient to address this issue. In the future, blockchain may prove to be a viable option for securing IoT systems. First, a primer on blockchain technology and its applications is presented in this paper and Its implementation has been detailed; then we addressed the IoT infrastructure, which is built on the Blockchain network; and finally, a model for the security of the internet of things using blockchain has been offered.
