ABSTRACT:-

            Nowdays, Maintaining peace in the warehouse and avoiding fire and avoiding stealing of goods in the warehouse is very difficult. It’s not possible to properly maintain a warehouse for one man. It’s necessary to maintain a warehouse properly and firefree to avoid a loss. But this system is overcome from this drawback. This system is very helpful ,to maintain a proper warehouse and protect it from fire.

            This system is based on  IOT(Internet Of Things). It has Raspberry Pi (RPI), Camera module to detect human(thief) or detection of fire. In this system, Camera will detect humans only if the movement of humans is happening, otherwise it can not detect humans. This system detects human motion with the help of Human detection Sensor. System only detects if it is human or not. It does not identify the specific person. Haar Cascades is used in this system for person identification. It’s technology for detection of objects  related to computer vision. This system records video only if human movement exists. Otherwise the camera will take a picture of the selected position after the fix interval of time.

            This system also helps in fire detection. If there is smoke or fire in the warehouse, it will detect it and the buzzer of this system gets turned on. It detects fire using a fire sensor which is connected to Raspberry pi. The smoke or fire is detected by the gas sensor. Everything video and picture clicked by this camera module is stored on the server. So that it is easy for the user to view images and video whenever he wants. So this system is very useful to maintain a warehouse.

OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT :-

            The objectives of the Smart-cam for warehouse Using Raspberry pi are:

  • To apply various classifiers techniques to improve security and safety purposes.
  • To perform dynamic data updation and real time view operations with the help of sever.
  • To detect fire or smoke and any human detection (thief) in the warehouse.
  • To support efficient video analysis for fire and human detection using various sensors.

 

EXISTING SYSTEM:-

            Warehouses require video capturing systems that have the ability to alert and record beside live video streaming of the intruder. The advancement in video surveillance technology has made it possible to view your remote security camera from any internet enabled computer or smartphone from anywhere in the world that encompasses the use of CCTV systems and IP cameras. This technology is awesome but its cost of implementation has proven to be an impediment especially for a small home application.

 

PROPOSED SYSTEM:-

Proposed system is very helpful to maintain a proper warehouse. It plays a major role in the security and safety of warehouses. It has a lot of  IOT (Internet of things) componentes like Raspberry pi ,Camera module ,Sensors ,etc. It uses various sensors to sense what is happening in the environment. It helps us to detect any problematic situation in the warehouse.

This system is proposed for mainly detection of human motion and detection of fire. It has a camera connected to a raspberry pi that captures an image when a moment is happening. It captures an image if and only if the motion of a human is detected. It can’t click an image when there is nothing in the environment. If there is nothing in the environment it clicks images after a fixed interval of time. To detect human movement it will use a human motion sensor. It also used the Haar Cascade classifier to detect human motion. The images and videos are stored on the system server with the help of  Raspberry pi. Users can view images and videos whenever they want from a remote location.

This system will help in fire detection also. It will detect fire from smoke in the warehouse. The gas sensor and fire sensor are used in this system to detect fire or not in the warehouse. If there is fire in the warehouse ,then the buzzer of this system gets turned on. It will decrease human efforts. That’s why this system has scope from a future perspective.

 

MODULES:-

  • User Register/Login: To maintain warehouse user have to register/login.
  • Surveillance warehouse: After short interval of time camera will take images of warehouse if there is no human interaction. If human interaction or human motion detected then camera will record video via cv2 and capture human motion.
  • Person detection and recognition: If human detects then via cv2 camera capture video and identify person using haar cascading model.
  • Fire alerting: By using gas sensor system detects fire and sending that response to the person and turning on the buzzer via raspberry pi.
  • Face recognition: By adding CNN layers with haar cascading training model to recognize.

ADVANTAGES :-

  • We can operate this system from a remote location.
  • This method is used to detect whether a thing is human or not. It can’t detect a specific person.
  • The buzzer gets turned on if it will detect fire or smoke in the warehouse.
  • The images and videos clicked by camera are stored on the system server.

HARDWARE: –

  • Processor: Intel Core i3 or more.
  • RAM: 4GB or more.
  • Hard disk: 250 GB or more.

 

SOFTWARE:-

  • Operating System : Windows 10, 7, 8.
  • Python 
  • Anaconda
  • Spyder, Jupyter notebook, Flask.
  • MYSQL
